So, I don't know if this is on national news, but there have been fires in California this past few days. Today a fire started in Yorba Linda in Orange County. AKA where I live. D:

But it's not near my house. It still many miles away. We just can't go outside because of all of the ash.

The smell is so intense and everything outside has a weird reddish tint to it. It's surreal.

So I'm still working on the first movie for Paint the Sky... i'm hoping i'll be done before school starts (and AP Euro hw doubles) on the 25th. But here's some stats/info while you wait.

-It's roughly 6000 frames at 30 fps... so that makes 200 seconds which is 3 and a fraction minutes. i think. i really hate math.

- The movie is based around a song, like many of my other movies (Held High, Our Aeipathy, <3, etc.) but there's dialogue too. I'm gonna need more voice actors for my later ones...

- It's gonna be rated teen for violence and dark themes. :) lol.

- The character's name is Rhett Wills. He is 40 years old during the Paint the Sky timeline, but in this movie he's in his late twenties.

kk. So some ppl know already that I'm doing 'character movies' first before the actual episodes. I'm doing this because I think knowing the chracters and their past is important to this series... if that makes sense at all. and there's a lot of characters to remember if i threw them all at you in the first episode. Not to mention that i get to play around with dramatic irony.
